The descendants of the Great Seat of Cymurri needed Oracles for their rituals, which they bought from the Ivory Incubariumin the Zealot’s Range. The payment was an embryo which later transformed into a well-trained prophet, which was later sent to the Gate of Graven King.
All the Oracles were bonded to their physical form, but their souls belonged to the airiest astral umbilicus. Their mystic souls were analyzed by the Cymurri Advisors, which were able to read the future in the minds of those prophets. The Oracles were able to give accurate information about future fights, such as number of troops, strength and most importantly, diplomatic advices.
This way, the Graven Kings secured victory after victory for generations. The last of the stone-helmet were served by the oracle Nerif. His prophecies were unusual, nothing like the ones of Oracles before him. He took the King to new battles, making new enemies for the realm. When the Incubarium asked for his removal, the Oracle came with a last prophecy about the destruction of the order. The advisors asked the king to neglect the prophecy and to proceed with the dismissal of the Oracle, but the king was practical and cold blooded. He listened to Oracle and saved the order. Even if the king is long gone, the oracle still fights for him and gives important information in battles to his allies.
